Fall Sprint Registration Delay

I apologize to everyone for the delay in opening registration. It doesn't have to do with whether or not we'll be having the event, WE ARE. It has to do with confirming the venue.

I was really hoping to move things to Rock Cut State Park, but it's looking now like that might not be possible. If I don't have an answer by week's end, the race will be help at Red Gate Woods in Willow Springs, IL.

Thank you for your patience and keep an eye on the website for registration opening.

Forget the Map! Totally New Venue!

This year's race will be held at Rock Cut State Park near Rockford, IL. There are a number of reasons for the switch, but most importantly, I feel it will allow us to provide racers with a better overall experience. For those of you who haven't been there, it is a fantastic park with exceptional single track, varying terrain, and a great paddle lake! Get ready for the best Fall Sprint ever.

New Map This Year!

I am pleased to announce that we will be unveiling a new map for the navigation section this year. It will be 1:15000 scale and will be challenging!

In previous years, we have used the Chicago Area Orienteering club map which is fantastic! In my opinion, however, it is too good! Part of the fun of adventure racing is being challenged with something out of the norm. Hopefully you will enjoy it!
