This years Winter Rogaine will be held at Rock Cut State Park near Rockford, IL. The area is host to interesting terrain and a variety of animal and plant life.
Checkpoints will be placed throughout the state park and it is up to you to find them using only your map, compass, and orienteering skills. Checkpoints will be worth varying amounts of points bringing strategy into play. The winner is the participant who accumulates the most number of points in the least amount of time. Back back late and be penalized a point a minute.
For those of you who don't know how to orienteer or need a refresher course, a FREE navigation clinic will be held at 8:15am the morning of the event.
As with all Fat Otter events, stick around after and enjoy a cookout Otter style!!
Both 3 hour and 6 hour courses will be offered.

Control A1
Did anyone find a good method for getting to the control on the face of the cliff without having to wade through the creek?
